Update on cryptocurrency prices: Market rallies for a second straight day, Bitcoin is up 2.13%, while Ethereum is up 2%

Prior to Thursday morning, the market cap of all cryptocurrencies surged by 1.28 percent to $1.20 trillion, while the trading volume jumped by 0.39 percent to $70.07 billion.

At 9 am IST, PancakeSwap (CAKE), which had a price of $2.62, down 2.76 percent from the previous day, was the most popular cryptocurrency. The trading volume for the whole day was $83.3 million. The largest gainer was MultiversX EGLD, which increased by 22.90% to $47.41.

NEAR Protocol (NEAR), on the other hand, fell the most, falling 2.80% to $1.90. Its $11.5 million 24-hour trading volume. According to Coinmarketcap.com, the DeFi sector decreased 7.31% from the previous day to $5.13 billion.

Prices of cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin: At $28,952.22, the price of one bitcoin grew by 2.13 percent. Its $34.86 billion in trade during a 24-hour period. According to market cap, it is now ranked first on Coinmarketcap. The market share of Bitcoin increased by 0.40 percent from the previous day to reach 46.78 percent.

Ethereum: The price of Ethereum grew by 2.04% to $1,903.70. During a 24-hour period, $16.36 billion was traded.

Tether: In the last day, Tether lost 0.01 percent, dropping to $1. The total value of Tether's 24-hour trade was $47.42 billion. On Coinmarketcap, it is in third place.

Different Altcoins

In the last day, Solana's (SOL) price dropped by 0.73% to $21.64.

Avalanche closed at $17.31, down 0.46%, on a $327 million 24-hour trading volume.

Cardano (ADA) increased by 2.54%. With $524 million in 24-hour trading volume, it is placed sixth.

Meme Dollars

The 24-hour price of Dogecoin (DOGE) increased by 0.5% to $0.07988.

Shiba Inu dropped to $0.0000103, down 0.60 percent.

Financial Decentralisation

DeFi was trading at the same price as yesterday, $0.04604.

Yearn.Finance's 24-hour market cap was $274 million, up 3.15 percent to $8,318.41 in the previous day.
