Commercial LPG Gas Cylinder Prices Are Lower Starting Today; Check Local Rates

<p>On Tuesday, August 1, Oil Marketing Companies lowered the cost of commercial LPG cylinders. <p>A 19 kilogram commercial LPG cylinder will start retailing for Rs 1,680 in Delhi tomorrow. There hasn’t been a price increase for home LPG, however. Sources familiar with the situation informed news agency ANI that the increased pricing will take effect immediately. On July 4 of current year, the final LPG cylinder’s price was increased by Rs 7.</p>

<p>In general, household and commercial LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinder prices are revised on the first of every month.</p>
<p>LPG cylinder cost in other cities</p>
<p>A commercial LPG cylinder costs Rs 1802.50 in Kolkata. A commercial LPG cylinder currently costs Rs 1852.50 in Chennai compared to Rs 1640.50 in Mumbai.</p>
<p>Compared to residential cylinders, which weigh between 15 kg and 16.5 kg, LPG weighs 19 kg.</p>
<p>On July 4 of current year, the final LPG cylinder’s price was increased by Rs 7. The last time domestic cooking gas prices were changed was on March 1 of this year.Commercial LPG cylinder prices had dropped twice in a row before to this increase, in May and June of this year.</p>
<p>According to ANI, OMCs decreased the cost of a commercial LPG cylinder by 172 in May and by 83 in June. Commercial LPG cylinder costs were reduced on June 1 by 83.50 to 1,773 per unit of 19 kg, effective right now.</p>
