For Mirza, the project was also a landmark moment as it marked his directorial debut on the channel, making the achievement even more significant.

One of the visual highlights of the series was a specially created railway station set built in Mira Road, adding authenticity and cinematic scale to the narrative. The show’s digital buzz was equally strong, with a single promotional reel crossing over 8 million views, further amplifying its popularity.

Mirza’s journey reflects steady creative evolution. Early in his career, his short film travelled to the prestigious Festival de Cannes through his film Mumbai, earning him global recognition. He later directed the critically appreciated film Barkhaa, which won him a Best Debut Director Award at IFEFA, Australia, besides critical acclaim  for his sensitive storytelling.
